Now that the Zytek LMP2 is in the game and judging by this vehicle's description, I think this car was designed for LMP2 racing. It's safe to assume it uses the same 4.5-litre as the Nissan, considering Alpine is one of Renault's marques and Renault is with Nissan. The engine is just optimized for torque over power compared to the Zytek LMP2 car.
