Today I completed Gran Turismo 6's rally car collection! My last two cars were the Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Unlimited and the Monster SX4 Pikes Peak Unlimited. And as good as the Escudo is, the ridiculous turbo lag really lets it down for standing starts because of how little power and torque there is in the low rev range.

I've seen some pictures of Hyundai's N 2025 VGT car, and it looks like another LMP-style vehicle, similar to the SRT Tomahawk, Chaparral 2X and Mazda LM55 we've seen already, as well as the speculation relating to the Bugatti VGT car.

I've posted a suggestion on the GTplanet forums for a car to be in a future game - the Toyota TF101! It's also starting off pretty popular. The thread hasn't been up for an hour and it's already gotten four likes!

I found this weird bug recently. I've only tested it on Sierra Time Rally, but it might work on other events. Here's how to replicate it.

Step 1: Purchase either Gravel or Snow tyres for any car that can run on those surfaces.
Step 2: Equip either tyre type to one of your three tuning-sets, but leave the other set as a default road-tyre.
Step 3 (Important): Start an event using the tuning set equipped with the road tyres.
Step 4: Go into the race (Either A-Spec or B-Spec should work.)
Step 5: Quit the race.
Step 6 (Important): Switch to the tuning set which had the gravel or snow tyres equipped.
Step 7: Restart the race and wait until you gain control.

You should notice at this stage that the tyre-type has not been auto-changed from gravel or snow to a tarmac tyre.

Step 8: Quit the race again.

In the replay camera, the rims should be one of the rim types used for this car in Gravel or Snow events.

Step 9: Go into Driving Options.

As usual, the Gravel and snow-tyres cannot be selected, even though they're still equipped.

Step 10: Equip a set of Tarmac tyres
Step 11: Restart the race again and wait until you gain control.

The tyres will be whatever tarmac set you chose before the start of the race.

Step 12: Turn the car so that the camera angle will show the rims.

It's at this point that it should be noticeable that while the tyres have the texture of whichever set of tarmac tyres you are using, but the rims are the same set as those found when the car is running on gravel or snow.
